Hurling & camogie 2017/18 This has been a great year for hurling and camogie in our school. The year began with the mini sevens competition in both hurling and camogie. Our girls were very unlucky not to advance to the finals of the competition after winning all their group games bar one. A loss to New Inn would prove decisive as New Inn advanced. However there was great enjoyment on the day and all of our subs got a run with a challenge game between ourselves and neighbours Kilchreest capping off a great day of camogie. The hurling mini sevens would be decided in a derby game where our boys were unfortunate to lose out to a good Kilchreest side in the decisive game. Having beaten Lough Cutra and Lurga the neighbours faced off in an exciting encounter. Kilchreest would go onto win the final. Peterswell were happy to stay on and support their club mates in the final. These competitions early in the year gave the teams’ time to evaluate their performance and learn from their m
